Interesting Information about Arbonne's Protein Shakes

 Today I happened to run across a very interesting blog by a consultant in Canada. His name is Gaeten Tremblay.  With his permission, I'm posting a few things here.
The main source of protein in the shake mix is Pea Protein, and I quote "You know why Pea Protein is so awesome ??  Besides its muscle building properties and excellent absorption rate into the body… Pea Protein is actually a excellent fat-burning nutrient ! "
That is so amazing to me!  Who knew?  Protein from peas.  I never did.  Peas.  Full of protein!
"A key element of Pea Proteins in your diet is the high intake of Leucine, one of the essential amino acids (The Arbonne Essentials Vitamin/Mineral Shakes contain 1, 740 mg of Leucine)" Why is that so special? The authors of a recent  the study performed at  The University of California, concluded that ” Increases in dietary Leucine intake substantially decrease diet-induced obestiy, hyperglycemia and hypercholesterolemia in mice with ad lib consumption of High Fat Diets”
It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that these tests where not done by Arbonne, International but done at the University of California ~ Arbonne is a 100% vegan company, and does NOT test on Animals.
I love my protein shakes.  I am one who has always been very sensitive to protein powders, diet supplements, metabolism boosters, you name it.  Either for one they taste yucky, or they make my heart race, crash and burn my blood sugar, or all of the above.  With that in mind, I must confess, I tried the Arbonne shake with a bit of fear and trepidation!  What I found was AMAZING!  I experience NO blood sugar spikes/crashes, no heart palpitations, no nasty aftertaste ~ to point they are good, and filling.  I am so thankful for something that is not only 'safe, pure and beneficial' it TASTES GOOD also!
Ya know, that is one of the most AMAZING things about Arbonne ~ we are truly a team.  When I saw Gaeten's blog I emailed him immediately and asked his permission to quote him, he responded so very quickly.  Arbonne is an amazing company, full of simply amazing folks!  Thank you Gaeten!
